Lincoln Inn Suites

In the heart of Covent Garden, Lincoln Suites marks the transformation of a 1920s office building into a 65-room aparthotel – a space where heritage and contemporary living converge. Studio Shan was appointed to furnish, style and bring depth to the interiors, layering colour, texture and atmosphere onto the existing architecture.

Interior of a modern living room with two green sofas, a potted plant on a gold side table, wooden textured wall, an abstract landscape painting, and a wall-mounted light fixture.
A corner of a living room with two modern chairs—one green and one rust-colored—and a small wooden side table with a white sculptural lamp on it, against a textured beige wall and an abstract patterned carpet.

Working within a commercial budget, our focus was on sourcing robust, modern furniture and affordable artwork that could still offer character and resonance. Each room type was given subtle individuality, while the communal areas were animated through ochre-yellow corridors, large-scale artworks and custom rugs – moments of warmth and identity that anchor the guest experience.

The result is a collection of spaces that balance practicality with personality: interiors that are simple, durable and welcoming, yet thoughtfully styled to carry a quiet sense of story and place.
